We now have a new name that fits our current service, with everything you need to upskill or get employment all in the one location. You will find us in the same location, with the same friendly staff and fees free training and education.

We take enrolments at any time throughout the year so if you are interested in any of our services – we can help you find a course that is right for you.
Introducing Norman & Leisa Roos
- Owners & Managers of Skillsec
Every community need a couple like Leisa and Norman.
Skillsec reflects the energy, fresh thinking, inspiration and vision of our owners Norman & Leisa.
In January 2016, Norman and Leisa Roos made the move from farming in Central Otago to became the new owners/ managers of this business. Skillsec is a family owned, community focused PTE with a huge sense of commitment, accountability, purpose and pride.
Leisa (Ngai Te Rangi, Ngai Tukairangi) and Norman are on-site, inclusive and student-centred. They focus strongly on whānau, relationships and empowering students and trainees of all ages and from all walks of life, to find and pursue their own pathway into employment.
