We work alongside you and together we design a programme that meets your employment, training or full-time study needs
How can Reskill benefit you?
Our Reskill programme includes recognising your transferable skills, creating your own individual employment or study pathway plan, boosting your job search skills and enhancing your job application skills. You can practice how to present yourself at interviews and how to maximise every interview opportunity and move into employment.
Entry requirements
Currently on a Jobseeker or Sole Parent benefit
18 years +
Access up to 20 weeks training that includes:
CV workshops
Small group and individual sessions covering skills in job searching, cover letter writing, job applications and interview preparation
Interview practice
Free driving lessons and licences
Free industry certificates such as Site Safe and First Aid
Joining an encouraging, supportive environment
Connection opportunities with local employers
Post-employment support
Duration
20 weeks, with a minimum of one weekly appointment between the hours of 9.00 am - 3.30pm, Monday – Friday
Programme Fees
Free with a referral by Work and Income New Zealand
